What this website is
theoilmoney.com is an education and research website. Nothing is sold here. There are no accounts, no memberships, no courses, no shopping cart and no checkout on this site, and we do not take payments of any kind. That single fact removes most of the reasons a website would collect personal information, and it is why this policy is short.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our servers and analytics tools record technical information when a page is requested. This includes your IP address, browser type and version, operating system and device type, the page you requested, the page that referred you, and the date and time of the request.
We use this to understand which pages are read, to keep the site available, and to detect abuse. We do not use it to build an advertising profile of you, and we do not run advertising networks on this site.
Information you give us voluntarily
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to put in the message. We use it to answer you and we keep it only as long as needed for that purpose. There are currently no forms, newsletter sign-ups or registration on this website.

Retention and security
