Why do I have to do this?

We always wrap our indicators with security code to protect you and your computer.  Sometimes this coding (computer language) can interfere with other coding and prevent you from installing other software.

Due to the previous OilWell (the old TOW) installation that may be on your computer, we have found it can cause compatibility issues with some users on the NT7 platform.

As a result, the only course of action to correct this issue is to follow the steps outlined below.  Once a new NT7 install has been performed, and indicators download this issue should be resolved.

What do I have to do?

If you are a seasoned pro, follow these first set of instructions below.  If you are not good at this stuff, go to the second set of instructions below:

First set of instructions:

  1. Remove the NinjaScript assembly for all TOM indicators, such as : TOW3 [TOMbars], Pivot Scalper [TOMbars2], TOW4, etc. from your NT7 Control Center
  2. Shut Down and Restart NT7 platform
  3. Install TOMbars.zip and TOMcci.zip and verify they are operational
  4. Install TOW.zip and verify all 3 indicators are operational together

Second set of instructions for advanced users:

You will need to remove (delete) your current NT7 platform and completely re-download and start with a fresh install. To properly ‘clean out’  Ninjatrader 7 follow these steps:

  1. Use the control panel to completely uninstall NT7
  2. Delete the NinjaTrader 7 (NT7) folder from your PC Documents folder
  3. Shut down and Restart your PC
  4. Install NT7 latest version from www.ninjatrader.com
  5. Install the new Oil Money TOMbars.zip & TOMcci.zip files FIRST (DO NOT INSTALL THE .ZIP Files during this step)
  6. Install the unique TOMbars code per instructions
  7. Check for proper operation of your new TOMbars & TOMcci tools.  If all checks out go on to the final item
  8. Install The Oil Well TOW.zip at this time to complete your indicator installation process

Even though this is an inconvenience, it's always good to scrub out the old stuff and start fresh.  While you are in the process of doing this be sure to run a full virus scan and clear all your browsing history including cache and cookies and restart your computer, it's like giving your computer an acid wash.
